  • Description

The Campagnolo Bora One Carbon Tubular Wheelset brings high-end aerodynamic performance into a lower price range. Similar in design to the uber-cool Bora Ultra Two, the Bora One wheelset makes some changes to a few areas in the interest of cost savings.

The Bora One skips the CULT ceramic bearings used in the Ultra Two, using grade ten stainless steel bearings instead. Grade ten means the bearings are round to within 10 millionths of an inch, so while they’re not ceramic, they’re nothing to laugh at.

The Bora One wheelset puts those bearings in an aluminum hub shell as opposed to a carbon one, again keeping cost in check. The hubs are laced to a 50mm, all-carbon rim using butted and bladed stainless steel spokes, with Campagnolo using its G3 pattern on the rear.

The G3 lacing pattern uses two drive side spokes for every one non-drive spoke, helping the Bora One accelerate quickly and stay strong in the sprints. All of the changes made to the Bora One add up to only 40 grams and a bit more rolling resistance, making the Campagnolo Bora One Carbon Tubular Wheelset a great performance bargain.

Sorry clincher riders, the Campagnolo Bora One Carbon Tubular Wheelset only comes in a tubular version.
