fi'zi:k Arione Saddle
Description
The fi'zi:k Arione saddle is a little longer than most other saddles, a little flatter than most other saddles, and for many, a little more comfortable than most other saddles. Designed with input from former Giro d’Italia winner Gilberto Simoni, the fi'zi:k Arione is designed for people who like to move into different positions while climbing, getting in the drops, or riding on the hoods. Simoni is a notorious wiggler on the bike, always moving around, so he needed some design features to keep him comfortable. In addition to the flat shape and the longer nose, fi'zi:k also added Wingflex, essentially flexible tabs right where the saddle flares out for the part where your butt goes, to the shell of the saddle. This makes it so you can scoot back to really mash the pedals without getting any uncomfortable chafing or pressure points. If you stay planted in one spot while you ride, you might want to consider fi'zi:k’s Aliante instead of the fi'zi:k Arione saddle - it’s got a contoured shape to keep you more stationary folks comfy.
