Similar in design to the Racing Zero, the Racing 1 doesn't go quite as far to save weight as its more expensive counterpart.
- 1550 grams per pair (not including skewers)
- 16 front spokes (radially laced), 21 rear spokes (7 non-drive, 14 drive side)
- Compatible with either Campagnolo 9,10,11 speed or Shimano/SRAM 8,9,10 speed (select either Campagnolo or Shimano when ordering)
The Racing 1 borrows the technology used in the top of the line Racing Zero, but uses slightly heavier materials to keep cost in check. With its 2:1 rear spoke lacing, the Racing 1 accelerates quickly and resists flex when sprinting. The variable section, bladed aluminum spokes save weight, add strength, and reduce drag to help the Racing 1 meet the demands of even the pickiest riders. The machined aluminum rims feature a welded seam for strength and are counter-balanced to ensure smooth rolling. As with the Racing Zero, the Racing 1 does not require rim tape, so what you see is what you get when it comes to weight.
