Fulcrum's least expensive entry in the wheel market, the Racing 7 is far from entry level. The Racing 7 makes a great replacement wheel, or even a solid upgrade over the stock wheels on the vast majority of road bikes offered today.

If you need to replace a trashed set of stock wheels or are looking for an upgrade that won't eat up your whole bike budget for the year, the Racing 7 is the answer. Aluminum rims, aluminum hub shells, steel axles, and straight-gauge stainless steel spokes have been selected to provide a balance between weight, durability, and cost. While the Racing 7's don't use many of the design features of the higher-end offerings from Fulcrum, they still retain the 2:1 rear spoke pattern. As with the Racing 5 Evolution, these wheels do require rim tape, which is included.
