Looking the past to design a more efficient future, that's exactly what Giro has done with their already amazingly crafted Prolight Helmet to make it, well, a more amazing standard for modem lightweight helmets.
Coming in at an outstanding 200g for their medium model, the Prolight Helmet features an in-mold construction that fuses the outer shell with the impact-absorbing EPS liner with reinforcement areas around the vents and ribs to create a strong exoskeleton that allows the helmet to be lighter and more durable without sacrificing any strength.
Redesigned with 5 "Wind Tunnel" vents and a maze of optimized internal channels that exhales hot, stale air for remarkable ventilation and cool comfort, this helmet was cradted with new, Italian-made, featherweight webbing that is so supple that you almost don't notice it against your cheek or chin. The Prolight Helmet also comes with anti-bacterial X-Static pads, which are light and comfy, resist odors, dry quickly, and wash easily.
Available in 3 sizes and finished in a jet black/red coat or carbon/jet black gloss.
