Description
The Ksyrium Elite Wheelset combines durability with ideal lightness to create a race-ready bike. The wheelset features a 22mm rim that's tied to the hub with 18 radial spokes and a 20 spoke rear wheel with a 25mm deep rim. By using Mavic's Isopulse lacing, radial on the drive side and two-cross on the non-drive side, the package is extra stiff and allows for better power transfer.
Similar to their top level wheels, the Ksyrium Elite Wheelset runs on Mavic's QRM+ bearings on aluminum axles and both the front and rear hubs feature a micro-adjustable bearing preloaded system that's easily adjusted with the wheels on the bike. The set also uses FORE drilling, so you don't need a rim strip as the spoke holes don't penetrate the outer rim wall.
Crafted to further mimic their more expensive rims, the Ksyrium Elite Wheelset also uses SUP welded/machine rim joint and UB Control machine breaking track for pulse-free, controlled breaking performance in all conditions.
Unique to the Ksyrium Elite Wheelset are its hubs. The set utilizes light and durable aluminum hubshells and stainless steel bladed spokes that are resiliant and quite aero. The Ksyrium Elite wheelset is available in a jet black finish or shiny silver gloss.
