The Mavic Pro Road Cycling Shoes offer high-end performance at a more affordable price. The Mavic Pro Road uses Mavic’s Energy Full Carbon sole for stiffness. The Energy Full Carbon sole comes in at only 5.5mm, keeping the stack height of the Mavic Pro Road shoe to a mere 7.5mm.
Getting your foot closer to the pedal translates to a more efficient power transfer. Keeping you planted to that sole is key too, so the Mavic Pro Road Cycling Shoes use a molded heel cup, 2 Ergo Strap velcro closures, and an Ergo Lite Ratchet buckle. With a secure fit, a stiff sole, and a weight on par with many top of the line shoes, the Mavic Pro Road is a great choice.
Mavic shoes are a bit on the narrow side and have a lower volume upper, but have a slightly roomier toe box than a Sidi. Mavic’s soles are fairly flat, and the Mavic Pro Road Cycling Shoes hold true to that rule.
