Mavic R-Sys SL Wheelset
  • Description

An SL version that is nearly 100 grams lighter than the Mavic's R-Sys Wheelset, the R-Sys SL Wheelset was crafted using Mavic's ISM 3D milling process, where they've historically removed excess material from the flats of the rim between the spokes. This groundbreaking process also rids of weight from the shoulders of the rim right above the brake track. By proxy, with their use of carbon centers and end caps, the R-Sys SL Wheelset also has lighter hubs and boasts titanium-shafted skewers that save an additional 10 grams per wheel.

The front wheel on the R-Sys SL Wheelset also has a shallower profile compared to the rear, which gives you greater control on high-speed descents, and has a 22mm depth in the front and 25mm in the rear.

Only available to fit Campagnolo and Shimano/SRAM cassettes and for clincher tires only, the R-Sys SL Wheelset has rims that are made of Mavic's Maxtal aluminum alloy. They also run on QRM+ SL bearings and have aluminum axels.
