Description
Most shoes that are designed with price in mind fail to deliver on the performance side of the spectrum. Not the Northwave Vertigo Road Cycling Shoes. It gets a carbon reinforced sole, which adds stiffness, and uses the Airflow System upper to move air through the shoe.
Northwave Vertigo Road Cycling Shoes uses 3 velcro straps as opposed to ratchet buckles, which not only lowers cost, it also has the fortunate side effect of keeping weight down. Northwave’s shoes fit differently than others, with a little more curvy sole and footbed, and a roomier upper. Northwave’s toe box is wider and rounder, and the sole is a little wider in the forefoot.
As with all Northwave road shoes, the cleat hardware allows for significantly more side-to-side adjustment than other shoes. This is great for people with hip, knee, or ankle problems caused by wider or narrower stances.
