Ridley X-Fire Carbon Cyclocross Bike Frame
Description
The Ridley X-Fire frameset utilizes a slightly more relaxed geometry than the X-Night, and runs a conventional seatpost as opposed to the X-Night’s integrated mast. These changes make the X-Fire a versatile bike - one that can be raced on the weekend, ridden to work all week, and easily packed up to take on vacation.
We build X-Fire complete bikes for a wide range of customers. We’ve set them up as ‘cross race-specific demons, dirt road long-haulers, commuter bikes, and even casual road bikes. Sure, the X-Fire will never be a razor-sharp criterium bike or a feathery climber, but it mows down the miles like a champ, making it a great choice for multi-day charity rides and the like.
Built entirely out of 24-ton high modulus carbon fiber, the Ridley X-Fire frameset keeps weight low and stiffness high. The downtube uses a square cross section and mates up to an oversized lower headset bearing, keeping the power transfer efficient and the steering precise in even the nastiest conditions.
The Ridley X-Fire frameset includes frame, fork, headset, and seat post clamp.
