Description

With its integrated seat mast, full high-modulus carbon fiber frame, and oversized lower headset bearing, the Ridley X-Night frameset is a serious cyclocross racing machine. From the internal cable routing to the mud-shedding design of the fork and stays, the Ridley X-Night has every small detail you could ask for on a high-end cyclocross bike.

The Ridley X-Night frame is built using 30 ton and 24 ton high modulus carbon fiber, providing a solid platform for you to blast through mud, sand, snow, and whatever else next ‘cross season brings. With the X-Night, you’ve got plenty of clearance for even the thickest mud, meaning your legs and lungs are your only excuses for a DNF.

An integrated seat mast saves a bit of weight on the X-Night, and it also allows the X-Night to flex in a more natural manner than a conventional post, adding a surprising quality on such a stiff, race-ready rig - a smooth ride. Ridley includes a cutting guide with the X-Night frameset, but we recommend that you bring it to a shop and have them cut it based on your fit.

Ridley keeps the bottom of the X-Night stiff and light with a BB30 bottom bracket. BB30 is not only stiff and light, but it also offers the ability to run a narrower q-factor, keeping your ‘cross bike stance more like your road bike than your mountain bike.

The Ridley X-Night frameset includes frame, fork, headset, and seat mast cap. Just order up a parts kit and you’ll be hearing cowbells in no time.

  • 1350 gram frame
  • Includes headset and seat mast cap
  • Requires 34.9 (35.0mm) front derailleur
