Looking to its sibling Dura Ace 7900 sibling model for inspiration, Shimano's Ultegra 6700 10 Speed Cassette has included an 11-28 spread which has gained the attention of many as well as making a conscious decision to machine holes in the larger cogs to reduce weight. They've also decided to bind the last three cogs together with a lightweight alloy carrier and refine their profiles for even crisper shifting especially while under the heaviest of loads.
The Ultegra 6700 10 Speed Cassette has redesigned Hyperglide sprockets that incorporate specifically positioned shift ramps and tooth profiles for robust, reliable and effective up and downshifts, and by featuring nickel-plated steel cogs and aluminum locking, you know what you're about to fit you bike with is ultra durable, and will perform just as when you first bought.
The Shimano's Ultegra 6700 10 Speeed Cassette is available in 11-23, 11-25, 11-28, 12-23 and 12-25 ratios, comes with an alloy lock ring and the 11-28 size requires use of the Shimano Ultegra RD-6700 Rear Derailleur or Shimano Dura-Ace RD-7900 Rear Derailleur
