Description
The Ultegra Rear Derailleur was crafted with a larger chain wrap capacity to allow a larger gear selection so you can have a compact crank with a 11x28 rear cassette without any problems in shifting. Despite the small amount of weight this rear derailleur has put on compared to its predecessor, and with pulleys that run on standard bushings rather than bearings, the main advantage of the Ultegra Rear Derailleur is its stiffness.
Fashioned with parallelogram plates that have been made wider for enhanced strength, the Ultegra Rear Derailleur will always deliver crisper shifting even under the heaviest of loads.
The Ultegra Rear Derailleur comes in a short cage (SS) with a capacity of 33 teeth and a long cage (GS) with a capacity of 39 teeth.
