Description
The Ultegra 6700 Front Derailleur, compared to the 6600, was designed with a shape to minimize the need for trimming the front derailleur and the spring is lighter for less push necessary at the lever. The Ultegra 6700 Front Derailleur's shift links where the cable pulls a lever and the derailleur cage moves has also been widened, making the shifter torsionally stiffer.
What does this mean? Shifting will feel superiorly lighter.
The Ultegra 6700 Front Derailleur was also upgraded with an optimized spring tension that allows for incredibly smooth shifting between the front and small chainrings, a reinforced upper half that provides a larger platform to move the cage during each shift and has improved link efficiency.
Featuring an aluminum cage, Ultegra 6700 Front Derailleur the was designed for compact (110mm) and standard (130mm) double chainring cranksets and is available braze-on or in a 31.8mm or 34.9mm clamp in a smooth grey gloss or metallic silver finish.
