SRAM Red cranksets are one of the best values on the market. They are fairly light, fairly stiff, and look fantastic. On top of that, they also shift incredibly well when paired with a SRAM shifter and derailleur. Red cranks with work with either a Truvativ GXP bottom bracket or the SRAM Black Box ceramic bottom bracket. Go ceramic if you want super smooth rolling, go with the regular GXP if you want to save some cash. SRAM cranks are compatible with Shimano chains, shifters, and derailleurs. Naturally, they work better with a full SRAM kit, but you can certainly mix and match if you’d like. Red cranks are available in either a standard 53/39 or a compact 50/34 and come in a ton of different lengths, so there’s one for everybody.
